my laptop model: hp pavilion dm4 1210tx .
graphics card Ati radeon HD 6370
I am running hp pavilion dm4 1210tx my windows was original win 7 and hard disk Samsung 600gb .It was running great with dedicated ati 6370 gpu. After 1 year my hdd crashed and totally damaged. So i need to buy a new one.The new hdd is WD 500gb.But the main problem is i can't use ati anymore. Its driver problem. when i install then laptop screen goes to dark. I can't install any driver for ati. In win 8 same problem .But none of them were install. Now i am running intel hd graphics. Please give me a solution to run my ati 6370 again.
i send this msg HP Support Forum they said
If you install Windows 7 by using the recovery disk and install the video driver via the Recovery Manager, then the Radeon HD graphics adapter should work without issue. Install only the AMD driver and do not install the Intel driver seperately.
There is no guarantee that the ATI graphics driver will work in Windows 8. You can try installing the Radeon HD 6370 graphics driver software package in Windows 7 compatibility mode as that has worked with some models to restore switchable graphics.
i said i have no recovery but i have Ati radeon 6370 driver. When i install this driver same problem create again..
please give me a solution...
