I have two GPUs in my notebook: Intel and AMD. When I click on switchable graphics application list in CCC, CCC just shuts down. How can I avoid this?

Notebook: Lenovo Thinkapd Edge 320

OS: Windows 8

GPU: AMD 6630M & Intel HD 3000

CCC version: 2012.0815.2143.3718

..and what did Leveno support have to say? Did you update your drivers and then this issue arose?

I didn't got a response yet... I was installing Windows 8 from sratch so I downloaded the newest drivers for AMD+Intel from lenovo website. I am writing to you about it too, because I feel like it's CCC bug rather than something with lenovo.

If I know where is the registry or file where are the applications usign AMD gpu written, I could manually rewrite it... Switching GPU everytime I plug/unplug A/C cable is just bad.

Are you 'upgrading' to Windows 8? Does Leveno recommend Windows 8 for your laptop? Bios update? Have you gone to Windows Update and checked for 'optional' updates to your computer?

Yes, I am, Windows 8 is supported for this product by Lenovo, there are drivers for it on the website (and everything works, just this). I didn't update BIOS, I don't do it unless I have to. Plus I don't believe BIOS update would resolve not opening window in CCC . Thank you for the windows update tip, I'll try that.

Hmmm, maybe I will try to get there newer version of CCC somehow.
