Hello

I'm running Windows 7 Professional x64 and AMD Radeon 7650m on HP ProBook 4540s. For my notebook I can use drivers only provided by HP but latest drivers are from may 2012. Do you still working with HP? Do you will relase update for 7650m HP laptops ?

P.S: I can't use orginal (From AMD site)  latest drivers because my notebook isn't going to sleep when I close it.

P.S.2: It's switchable with Intel HD 3000 but it switch automaticaly (dynamic)

HP switchable drivers have been modified by HP to work on your model laptop. If you read the sticky at the top of the forum, you will see that you must use drivers furnished by the manufacturer, the generic drivers from AMD will not work. So either go to HP support and get the latest drivers, or use Leshcat modded drivers...a link to which is posted in this forum.

AMD never did nor ever will will make drivers for your HP. AMD only makes generic drivers...the OEM's then do what they want with them. That's one of the big surprises for laptop owners. Just don't buy laptops with 'switchable' or 'dual' graphics and all is well. I update my Asus laptop normally...but it has one graphics chip.

Maybe it's wrong topic but i don't want to spam and open new topic. Do any AMD Graphics has something like in nvidia Games profile. I was playing on his laptop and game which on my AMD (1GB, good stats) causes lags, in his Nvidia (512mb mid stats) works perfect. It's not about all computer. My HP has 6.6 min. in Windows index, his has 6.0 max.
