Hello, I'm having a problem with updating the catalyst to 13.4. I have Radeon HD 6700M. Everytime I check the version number of my the catalyst after installing the update, there is no change in the version number, it stays the same which is the version 12.9. I have been having this problem for the older verisons of the catalyst too.

1 > The AMD catalyst version I currently have. Also, it is written that the lastest update I made was on October 04,2012

2 > Properties of the catalyst's software

3 > The Log after I installed the lastest version of the catalyst (13.4)

4 > The driver date

Please help.

i didnt dive too deep, but from what i can see

maybe ur driver is being updated but the catalyst software is not

have u tried uninstalling the catalyst (whole package along with drivers) from programs and features in control panel and then reinstalling it with th 13.4 version that u have

also if ur running a laptop. you should obtain the driverrs from the laptop manufacturers website

At the top of this forum, there is a 'sticky'. It says "updating Mobility drivers". You should read it. If your laptop falls into one of the specified catagories, then you must get your drivers from the laptop manufacturer.
