hello,

i've just tried to install the 13.9 drivers for my HP laptop, so i ran AMD Mobility Radeon Driver Verification tool, that downloaded the drivers automatically.

After that, I ran the 13.9 driver package and I got this : install package failure

So after the installation I got no amd entry in the list of installed programs and the log indicated that AMD Accelerated Video Transcoding had not being installed.

What i can i do to install correctly the 13.9 drivers?  isgust;

Please also note that when I try to download again the 13.9 drivers, the installer doesn't download anything and put a package in my folder immediately.

Go to the LAPTOP forum and read the sticky "Installing Mobility drivers". Then go to HP and download the drivers designed for your laptop.

Ok thanks but the 13.4 drivers work fine on my laptop.

I just have a display bug in firefox so i would like to upgrade them.

And the drivers available on the HP website are too old and don't work fine with some games.

Anyway, the error message I got and the installation issue is not due to my laptop trademark.

Maybe a visual C++ or framework issue?

Finally I went back to the old drivers provided by HP and I got this error while launching AMD vision center : "Catalyst Control Centre: Host application has stopped working"

I tried this solution but it didn't work : http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-hardware/catalyst-control-centre-host-application-has/0a0ef1b0-117d-43d8-a43f-9b24228b660b

What can i do?

thanks

What OS are you running? Is this the OS that came with the laptop?
