i recently upgraded to windows 8.1 and i'm not sure if the options went after the upgrade as today is the first time i accessed it after the upgrade. when to go to the amd vision engine control center, i'm only seeing the power and performance options. i know for sure there were video, sound and gaming options but i can't remember what others were there exactly. any help would be much appreciated.

What card do you have? Is it 'switchable'? Have you read the "Updating Mobility Drivers" ? Does your laptop support Win8.1? Some don't. Did you check with your laptop manufacturer to see? If so, then they will have drivers for your model.

I have fixed the problem. I went here http://driverscollection.com/?H=Radeon%20HD%207640G&By=AMD    and downloaded the appropriate file for my device and all of the missing options have returned along with my previous settings. Thankyou for your quick responses to my problem.
