Having a HP Laptop Pavilion 15-e30so (64bit) perfectly working under W8, after updating to W8.1 got black screen blinking problem, which can only be solved by disabling Inteld driver ( In addition to that the AMD Radeon HD 8670M driver shows an exclamation mark with code 43. We worked with HP for now 65 hours, and were not able to get it working. When installing the latest AMD certified driver we get errors and whatever we tested cannot get it working! This morning we found on Intel community that a conflict between Intel and AMD drivers seems to have been identified but no solution so far. It is very disapointing and we are now many to face the same problem (at least with same type of machine). Wishing AMD and Intel manage to get it solved ASAP because it cost a lot of money to have our machines parked!

I have quite a similar problem with HP ProBook 470 G0

It has a ATI HD 8750M, but when i updated to WIndows 8.1 (64Bit) i got the black screen/blinks on boot.

I found a BIOS option calles "Changable GRaphics" or something like that. After disabling this option th Laptop boots just fine, but the ATI Card wont be shown in the Device Manager at all and i can not install any driver.

I really need that graphic card, so is there any way to solve this? or can i just reinstall windows 8 and live with it?

Some users have had success by first updating the Intel drivers (use the driver update utility) then updating the AMD drivers second.
