Hi, i just bought a HP ProBook 470 G0, which as an ATI HD 8750M graphcs card, and a Intel HD 4000.

When i upgraded to Windows 8.1 i got only a black screen, sometimes the cursor blinked. After i figgured out it was the graphics card i went to BIOS and disabled an option called "changable graphics".

Now the ATI card seems to be completely deactivated since it wont show up in the device manager any more. When i enable the BIOS option and boot into save mode, i see the ATI card in the device manager.

Seems like ther is no windows 8.1 x64 driver out now for my card. I tried latest Win8 drivers, i tried the alternative UnifL driver, i tried beta drivers. nothing worked. ATM i have cleard my system with "Driver Cleaner Pro", and disabled the BIOS option so i can at least boot and use my Notebook.

Can anyone point me to a solution for my problem? i rly dont want to go back to windows 8 since i have Win8.1 on my desktop (8 year old nVidia card, working just fine) and on my surface RT and it syncs so nice

hope you can hel me here.

That is a laptop, so you need to talk to HP to find out if Windows 8.1 is supported for that laptop and if so for drivers.
