The Single GPU setups work perfectly though provided the laptop manufactuerer doesn't fiddle with the GPU so you can take advantage of the AMD Mobility drivers.
My Asus laptop is old enough to not have all the cool & quite and ULPS and all the other stuff to throttle the laptop so the battery runs longer than their competitors. Asus made a feeble attempt to fiddle by putting some controls in that would 'optimize' my laptop for games, etc....which was the frirst thing I deleted. I update every month from AMD and never had a issue.
