I have finally found my laptops exact product code and found it on HP's website. My graphics card are updated (windows 7 64-bit)

I have found that the latest AMD drivers for windows 7 is (2012-09-28 , Version8.933.3.4000, 299.21M)

And that windows 8 seems to have a better driver (
2012-11-26 , Version8.982.10.1600, 300.06M)

Does this give me a good reason to go windows 8.1?

I would not think so....read a few posts from people who did 'upgrade' *cough* to win8/8.1. Why are you not using the latest drivers for your card?

Oh am I not? I really can't say if I'm updated or not. What I know is that the AMD Driver I installed was at version 8.933.3.4000. Same as the one I saw in the HP website. Please tell me I am updated ?

If you are having no problems...you do not need to update your drivers. Mobility drivers are tricky...some people make all kinds of problems for themselves by trying. If you insist, here are the current Mobility drivers. If you don't know or unfamiliar with installing drivers don't do it. Always create a restore point before updating.

Absolutely no problem. Thank you so much. This is big information since I almost did create a problem out of curiosity.
