Hi, I recently bought a laptop and after installing steam and installing borderlands 1 i tried to play it, but the fps was much lower than what it should have been. After this i tried skyrim, but my graphics card didn't even show up on the options of what graphics card you wanted to use. However when i tried the game in windowed mode it worked.

I am currently running a practically new Dell W560901AU Inspiron with AMD Radeon HD 8850M graphics card

I havtrid many things including updating drivers and updates, fiddling around in the catalyst control centre and making everything go to the high performance setting. Even when i tried disabling the integrated graphics card all that did was make borderlands even slower.

Can anyone help with my problem?
