I have a  Lenovo laptop Y560 that has ATI mobility radeon 5730 graphics. I down loaded and installed the auto detect program from AMD which listed the best current version to install. Version 13-12_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql.exe. When I installed everything looked as if it went correct, but when I checked the driver it was still the old one that I had. As well as Catalist stayed the same version as I had. The only thing I know installed was new HDMI  high def audio driver. I just checked my C:/ drive under AMD and it is showing the new driver. Not wanting to mess up the install can someone tell me the best way of installing that drive package.

For your info the ATI driver thats being used now is 8.752.0.0 dated 6/29/2010

Many posts here about the version being wrong. It is a typo...you have the correct drivers.

HI..... I bought a HP 14t-1000 Laptop with ATI Mobility radeon 5650 Graphics in it.

My laptop came with a preinstalled indows 7 Home premium 64 bit.  Afterwards i have installed a windows & ultimate on my laptop.

After installation i am unable to find the ATI Software on my sytem. I had gone to HP support. they offered they can only give the support for the windows they provided with their notebook. for others i will have to contact AMD.

I went to AMD website & downloaded the auto detect programme. I am provided that "AMD Catalyst Mobility cannot be downloaded due to incompatible hardware / software on your computer. This version of graphics adapter is not supported. Please contact your notebook manufacturer for a graphics driver update.

I am in a fix as both HP & AMD is not able to provide the support to me. Kindly help & suggest a possible solution.

Stumped, Am I reading correctly that the ATI driver that I have installed is the correct version? 8.752.0.0 has been on my machine a very long time. I honestly am confused at this point. Seeing when I go into windows explorer and then to my C: drive there is a folder listed as "AMD" which has 13-12_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql.exe. When looking into programs ATI is listed as well.

Is it possible to explain what your saying in another way so that I might understand?

Generally, it displays the version you had before updating it. There are many posts, here is one:
