In previous versions of CCC I was able to set a profile attached to ATI Overdrive, and manually change that profile to achieve undervolting of the GPU.

A link to how it was done can be found here:

http://forum.notebookreview.com/msi/538668-gx640-automatic-downclocking-undervolting-using-ccc-profiles.html

My problem is that with the new CCC version 13.12 I cannot find a way to do so. Any general guidelines to addressing my issue?

Thanks.

So, found a solution out. I decided to fiddle directly with the profiles, cross-checking my old profile with the new ones. The codes changed a little, but, nothing to worry about.

So, the question is: how do I set an undervolt profile? Simple. Go to CCC and create a profile and activate overdrive.

Now, go to AppData\Local\ATI\ACE and open Profiles.xml, you'll need this file to get some info.

Go to C:\Users\Cyberz\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE\Profiles and locate the .xml profile you have just created. Delete everything in there and paste this piece of code:

<Profile>

  <Caste name="Graphics">

    <Groups>

      <Group name="Overdrive5">

        <Feature name="TimeUnlocked" />

        <Feature name="OverclockEnabled">

          <Property name="OverclockEnabledProperty" value="True" />

        </Feature>

        <Feature name="AutoTuneSupport" />

        <Feature name="CoreClockTarget_PCI_VEN_1002&DEV_68A1&SUBSYS_10611462&REV_00_4&2609CB15&0&0008A">

          <Property name="Want_0" value="10000" />

          <Property name="Want_1" value="40000" />

          <Property name="Want_2" value="65000" />

        </Feature>

 <Feature name="MemoryClockTarget_PCI_VEN_1002&DEV_68A1&SUBSYS_10611462&REV_00_4&2609CB15&0&0008A">

          <Property name="Want_0" value="15000" />

          <Property name="Want_1" value="40000" />

          <Property name="Want_2" value="105000" />

        </Feature>

        <Feature name="CoreVoltageTarget_PCI_VEN_1002&DEV_68A1&SUBSYS_10611462&REV_00_4&2609CB15&0&0008A">

          <Property name="Want_1" value="900" />

          <Property name="Want_2" value="950" />

        </Feature>

        <Feature name="MemoryVoltageTarget_PCI_VEN_1002&DEV_68A1&SUBSYS_10611462&REV_00_4&2609CB15&0&0008A">

          <Property name="Want_1" value="0" />

        </Feature>

        </Feature>

        <Feature name="FanSpeedAlgorithm_PCI_VEN_1002&DEV_68A1&SUBSYS_10611462&REV_00_4&2609CB15&0&0008A">

          <Property name="FanSpeedAlgorithm" value="Automatic" />

        </Feature>

        <Feature name="FanSpeedRPMTarget_PCI_VEN_1002&DEV_68A1&SUBSYS_10611462&REV_00_4&2609CB15&0&0008A">

          <Property name="Want" value="50" />

        </Feature>

      </Group>

    </Groups>

    <Adapter name="PCI_VEN_1002&DEV_68A1&SUBSYS_10611462&REV_00_4&2609CB15&0&0008A">

      <Aspect name="Overdrive5" />

    </Adapter>

  </Caste>

</Profile>

Note that here, the feature names such as "<Feature name="CoreClockTarget_PCI_VEN_1002&DEV_68A1&SUBSYS_10611462&REV_00_4&2609CB15&0&0008A">" are for my hardware. Change those specific lines for the ones found on the first file we opened, the Profiles.xml.

Then, just save your .xml profile. Invoke the preset and voilá

Cheers!
