You need to check Windows Update for 'optional' and 'recommended' updates and install the ones that are relevant. Check for a bios change. Check with HP support and download the graphics drivers designed for your laptop graphics.
With all the problems you have had, it would be better if you take your computer to a professional and pay them to fix what you have done/screwed up. Checking with HP, there are no Win 7 drivers or bios change for your model laptop. Get it back to the original state and leave it alone.
NOTE:If the operating system that you need is not listed, updates for your computer are not available from HP at this time.
