i have several older games that only support 4:3 resolutions yet i have a 16:9 screen, and i cant find the option to make 4:3 resolutions display fullscreen while maintaining the aspect ratio(as in black bars on the sides).

windows 7 64bit sp1
amd a6-4400m apu
catalyst version 14.4

Sometimes monitor themselves have this ability, go through its menus.

its a laptop so no moniter options

I'm not entirely sure if this menu even exists for laptops (Have never owned a laptop with AMD graphics), but if it does, enable gpu scaling and choose "maintain aspect ratio".

i only have centered and fullscreen as options. surely if intel and nvidia has had this option for nearly 10 years, amd will aswell

is there any other way to achieve this?
