Hi, in Catalyst Control Centre, the "HDTV Support" section is partially greyed out.

I've connected my laptop to my full HD LCD TV via a HDMI to HDMI cable.

I want to increase the refresh rate to 50Hz (not sure if 60Hz is supported but I'm fine with 50 anyway).

The desktop refresh rate on the TV screen is 30Hz.

In video games, I want to play them at 50Hz but when I try, either not much happens and it lies that it's on 50 and/or reverts back to 24Hz or something. This happens with the 1080p setting (1920x1080 resolution).

In the game DMC: Devil May Cry, sometimes when I change it to 1080p and 50Hz, there is a weird green mess on the screen, like it's washed with some green stuff....artifacts, don't know how to describe it.

Surely this TV must support something as basic as a 50Hz refresh rate?

I've read it may have something to do with TVs by default showing 24Hz for movies via HDMI.

I can't rename the HDMI source to PC either as my TV just doesn't have an option for that.

So the problem is my TV can't display 1080p @50Hz.

I think I've seen 50Hz working with 1280x720 and the motion is a lot more fluid but I want it to be 1920x1080 @50Hz.

To do that, I thought adding custom resolutions and refresh rates would

fix it but I find in the AMD software, that the HDTV Support section is greyed out! How do I enable it?
