There are too many different versions of "HP Laptop ENVY M6" for me to check. Supply us with the full model number. Did your computer come with Windows 7 or Windows 8 ? Before you upgraded, did you follow HP's guide and use Windows Update to fully update Windows 8? After you upgraded, did you use Windows Update and install all the 'optional' and 'recommended ' updates? Your best bet is to use the drivers HP furnishes for your model .

Thanks for replying , my laptop is HP Envy M6-1104se , and my computer came with Windows 8 original and I done all the updates that were recommended and the optionals also , the AMD drivers that were provided by HP were 2 years old thats why I manually downloaded Catalyst 14.7 to my computer , and i also tried Catalyst 14.4 and its still the same ..

A 2 year old driver for Windows 8.1? I think you are looking at the wrong set of drivers.

Does your laptop have switchable graphics? AMD or Intel.

Have you tried the 13.12 drivers? Be sure to uninstall existing drivers before install ing the new.

Yes....you have switchable graphics.  You must have the updated Intel graphics driver as well as the AMD driver. Try installing the 2 drivers HP is offering...1 Intel and 1 AMD. It doesn't matter at this point how old they are.

Does it act the same with Windows 8? Be aware that AMD does not support Windows 8 drivers past the 14.4 suite. You should not have to go back to 8....the flashing I saw in your video is extreme. Does it do that with any other game?

  • Starting with AMD Catalyst 14.6 Beta, AMD will no longer support Windows 8.0 (and the WDDM 1.2 driver)
  • Windows 8.0 users should upgrade (for free) to Windows 8.1 to take advantage of the new features found in the AMD Catalyst 14.7 RC driver
  • AMD Catalyst 14.4 will remain available for users who wish to remain on Windows 8
    • A future AMD Catalyst release will allow for the WDDM 1.1 (Windows 7 driver) to be installed under Windows 8.0 for those users unable to upgrade to Windows 8.1

In the CCC panel...make sure 'surface format optimzation' is unchecked/off...also allow the application to control the tesselation instead of AMD.

Hopefully someone smarter than me (wouldn't take much) will look at the video and have some input.
