Hello, I am new to the forums but I am having trouble upgrading to the most recent drivers for my ATI Radeon 4670 1 gb ddr2 graphics card. What happens is it installs and it says that there is no graphics driver installed. My OS is Windows 7-64-bit and I just want to upgrade to fix the texture flickering in Mists of Pandaria. Please Help!!!

Please supply the following:

What happens is it installs and it says that there is no graphics driver installed.

Clarify: Does the installer open, run setup, go through detection, and not detect a compatible device, or does the installer open, run setup, go through detection, detect the card, install, ask to reboot, and then Windows says no graphics drivers installed? Also, you need to be using the LEGACY driver set.

1. My graphics card is ATI Radeon 4670 1gb DDR2

2. Windows 7 64-Bit

3. AMD A6-3620 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.20GHz

4. I don't know the power supply model but I know that it has 350 watts

5. 8 gbs of DDR3 memory

It does get finished with the installer and it says that its successfully installed but if I go to the AMD radeon Control Center it says no graphic drivers are installed. I do reboot with the same thing sadly.

Try these drivers > http://benchmark3d.com/amd-catalyst-8-97-12-6-beta-july-3

Uninstall your old drivers using your computer control panel / uninstall a program... you will see 'AMD Install Manager' ..Express uninstall all AMD software including the installer. Reboot. Run Driver fusion (free) http://treexy.com/products/driver-fusion  select AMD graphics and delete all it finds. Reboot. Install the latest driver suite for you card including the dotnet4. Reboot. You should be good to go.

Note: All current AMD drivers ( 12.9 and above) require .netframework 4. If you haven't installed it, the CCC panel will not work. You should disable any anti-virus/anti-malware/add blockers/etc before trying to install the drivers.
