Hi!

I'm new to this site and i joined in frustration and hope, that some people can help me and many others with this current problem regarding this Graphic card.

Ok, so! As we all know the 4870X2 has 2 Gpu's combined in 1 single card. Which again means it's a crossfire card, right? but why the heck won't my second GPU activate in games? I play a lot of World of Warcraft and i have terrible fps, like 20-30 fps in big environments, and i don't even have the settings adjusted up high. But i can understand that if my card just runs on 1 gpu and not 2.

Pc spec:
Power supply: Corsair HX 850w
Motherboard: Asus p5q
Cpu:  Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83ghz - oc`ed to 3.6ghz.
Ram:  OCZ PS2-6400 / 400Mhz - 4gb totall (will upgrade)
Graphic: ATI Radeon HD 4870X2 2gb - 10.3 Ati driver as of know.
Operation system: Windows 8, 64bit

I have tried countless things, and millions of different drivers. Disable that, enable this etc etc.. Nothing works.. Anyone who seriously have the knowledge to help? Or do i need to buy another card?

Install the CAP's

Caps? what? You mean the custom profiles? 

I tried installing the 12.6 (newest driver) and it has a lot of profiles included in the pack, but i don't see any fps changes when i try them. I don't see fps changes when i even try to disable the Catalyst A.I.. I ran GPU-Z and it crearly says that both gpus (crossfire) is enabled, but in wow the second gpu has Zero avtivity and load..  

CAP = Crossfire Application Profiles

Beyond that, you must be running the game fullscreen.  Crossfire does not work in windowed mode.
