hello there!

well i would like to know if it`s possible in someway  to use the overdrive and fan control of the catalyst in win 8 with this card or some other program.

i know win 8 for old series using legacy drivers, but as you know in  the hd4870x2 is important to use the fan control and overcloaking. 

im using riva turner for control de fan, but the program doesn`t let me to use the overcloaking feature, cause the legacy driver.

The bolded portion would be the why, and most likely you won't be able to.  I would suggest sticking with Win7 as it will do absolutely everything you need + the added benefit of full driver support.

thanks canis, yes i was thinking about downgrade again to win 7 but in fact win 8 is better in other things, anyway is a momentaneus solution, i guess around march or something buy a new card.
