Hi all, I have a problem with my pc that maybe is caused by the HD4800. The text has a sort of shade, like a trail. I formatted the pc some days ago but the problem still persist.

First issue:  your text has shadow?  When do you recognize the shadow - is it showing while browsing or specifically when you're in an application like word?

Second issue? You can't format the drive while in use unless you dismount.  It's a lot of work to format a drive and reinstall the apps just for the purpose of correcting text shadow.

Possible fix:  try uninstalling the driver to your video display card HD4800.  Download the driver for your OS and reinstall it.  check if it corrects the problem.  If it doesn't the cause is not from your display card.  Try and play with your display resolution if it corrects the problem.

Adjust your Clear Type settings and make sure you do not have Morphological filter enabled in CCC.
