It is disappointing that the AMD's trusted linux support is abandoning the popular integrated grafics, motherboards and cards.
Also we can find 4000 series graphfics cards in the shelfs of shops in India.
PCs with ATI 1000, 2000 series IGPs are also working well, and are not too much older.
I brought a system with the motherboard Biostar TA890GXE(HD 4000 series) only 12 months back. a high end motherboard (http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=475).
Even now Motherboards with HD3000 are available in the market and is popular.(example : http://in.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3Plus/AMD_760GSB710)
But all od a sudden these become scraps or archives(even new one) as only old /legacy drivers are available for them, cannot properly install Linux. It is really heart breaking.

Lots of AMD machines are running LINUX. Because AMD supported LINUX.
Last week I tried to buy DX 11 IGP based AMD platforms for my college laboratory but not available, so had to content with HD3000 series MBs. PCs will be available next week only , but become old because of lack of support.(we use LINUX in the college)
Please help and maintain the support and hence trust and Popularity.
Thank you
