Hi,

My HD4850 makes HDD-like sound when I open CCC-panel, navigate to certain flash or javascript pages. However, this does not occur every time but almost.

I've verified that these sounds come from HD4850 and not from any other device or component.I was about to attach a sound clip, but the file upload didn't work.

What is the cause for this and is it possible to get rid of?

This graphics card has never been overclocked but I've used OverDrive to control the fan speed.

Coils are probably humming from age?

So, have these coils come to an end or could "baking time" help?
