I recently purchased a whole new system.

Windows 7 SP1

AMD FX-8150

ASRock 990FX Extreme3 MOBO

I have had problems with it since the get go. Before i updated my video drivers i would receive a plain black screen that would freeze my computer sometimes when i would play a game. Updated to the latest catalyst driver and now whenever i even start a game it goes to a black screen with blue horizontal lines. I'm at a loss and have no idea what to do next any ideas?

Edit: Im assuming somehow it has to be a bad video card? Im gonna have to do a RMA on it and send it back to newegg for a replacement im thinking. I attempted to do a windows experience index and when it was attempting to do Direct 3d things it blackscreened.

Edit2: Was just able to do a new windows experience index and it worked this time. Im so confused..
