When playing company of heroes 2 your drivers are causing a unnessary crash in the system what ever the cause is seem pretty simple to fix considering the card can run the game but it has a dice roll of a chance to crash for no  reason. Please make a fix for this, because it tiring to have a damn crash on a game tthat runn so damn smooth.

I have a 4870 Hd Saphire Graphic card

The game crash randomly at its own accord due to conflict with the card. It freezes I see my troops standing there i can't pan the screen then at that moment I know i hit the random crash. It odd, the game run to damn good just to go bye bye like that.

I run the game on low everything on low low low. Even though i can run it on medium.

I have the lastest drivers. Everything fully upgraded to all the lastest everything. EVERTHING!!

550 watt power supply

Windows 7 64 bit quad core amd processors Athlon 2 x 4 640

Hp computer model p6710f

Company of Heroes  2

4 gig ram don't know brand  1 terra hard drive don't know brand

Develope by relic entertainment

Publish by sega.

Using old ATI 10.10 drivers, only the newer drivers. Also mention is seems to be related to all cards using the 4xxx/3xxx/2xxx series of products.

I sent bug reports to relic everytime it happen but apparently its up to you guys to actually fix it. I beg you to fix it please.

It would be helpful if you also stated that the crash does not happen when using old ATI 10.10 drivers, only the newer drivers. Also mention is seems to be related to all cards using the 4xxx/3xxx/2xxx series of products.

Some more info about the problem. It seem the old drivers work just fine but your 13.1 is causing the crash.

Company Of Heroes 2 is not even released yet, so I don't know what you're expecting.

Whoever told you that is an idiot. It's not out yet, so if you are in the closed beta, then go talk to the developer, this is a user to user forum, not a direct line to the Catalyst Crew.

Told us what?. I have just tested it myself. Clearly it is a problem with the latest driver.

HD 4830 by Saphire crashes too on any settings.

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x81

PSU: High Power G12S 600W

Motherboard: Gigabyte P31-S3G

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 @ 3.20 GHz (O.C.)

GPU: HD 4830 512 MB DDR3 256bit 700/1200 MHz

Ram: 2 GB Kingston DDR2 @ 505 MHz (O.C.)

I know my computer isn't so good but I can play COH1 with high settings and 8x AA without no problem and lag. But COH2 Beta is some buggy, always crashes. I suppose these problems corcern with being beta of COH2.

Atleast this can be here if people want a temporary work around. Because then they will know that they can use the older drivers.

Also this has been posted on the dev board. But thought this may improve the chances.

"Relic is working with AMD to address a known issue when running CoH2 on 2000, 3000, or 4000 or sub 5430 AMD Radeon HD cards."

There we are.
