Hello AMD Radeon/Catalyst Developers,
I'm not very good at English but I hope you could understand.
I actually wanted to my issue send to AMD Issue Reporting Form (http://www.amd.com/legacyreport) but the report can't send because "Type of Issue:" submenus not selectable. Therefore, I write here:
DXVA support is very benefit. Thanks for fixes in last one years. Unfortunately, No DXVA support some (H264/AVC/X264) videos. I think, the reason why the Reference Frame and AVC Level. Please, add to this support. Because Nvidia drivers support but Radeon drivers no support high number of ref.frame on DXVA.
I uploaded a sample video: http://ge.tt/api/1/files/22K8IGg/0/blob?download
1) Download to Media Player Classic Home Cinema from http://mpc-hc.org/
2) Open to the sample my video.
3) Click to Filters->MPC Video Decoder from Play menu.
4) My result in DXVA (H.264) Compatibility Check;
FullCheck / SkipLevelCheck: DXVA don't working but the video playing properly.
SkipRefFrameCheck / SkipAllCheck: DXVA working but the video not playing properly.
My system info:
GPU: Radeon HD 3200 (shared memory 256 mb from BIOS).
CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 710 - 2600Mhz
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-MA78GM-S2H Rev1.1 (F12B BIOS)
RAM: 4 GB DDR2 RAM / Kingston KHX8500D2-2G (2 kit)
OS: Windows XP
Driver version: Catalyst 13.1 (Besides, I tried too 13.4 Legacy Beta)
P.S.: I still use Windows XP/2003 because I don't like than Windows Vista/7/8. Please, please, don't pull back development, fix support from WindowsXP and drivers of 3000-4000 GPU series.
Thanks in advance...
