hello i have an AMD HD4890 XFX gpu and the power supply i was using which only had 30 amps on a single rail wasnt good enough for the card seeing as how when ever i played a video game the psu would shut off the pc any how i bought a new psu with 4 12 volt rails with 17 amps on each rail and i want to know how can i tell if i jacked up my video card is there a way i can test it to see if its borked the last time i played a game on the card it was hooked up to the old 30 amp psu and during the game the video on my monitor just went blank the pc stayed powered on but the card quite posting so i hooked the card up to my friends pc for a few mins to see if it posted and the card posted how do i know if its borked more info the video card was tested in another machine with an antech 380 earth watts psu and it posted and booted into windows xp and after that it was removed how can i tell if the card is gonna be ok for gaming is there a program i can use to test the card for defects

Play a game with it. If it has problems, then it is bad, if it does not, then it is good.
