Dear all,

A little background, i am using dual screen, one is 22inch monitor and another is 42 inch led tv (2nd screen).

Previously i had an issue with the letterbox on 2nd screen however this issue  can be easily solved by catalyst software by scaling up the size of the 2nd screen.

However after i have updated to Windows 8.1 recently, i could not use the catalyst software anymore as AMD has dropped the HD 4800 series supports.

Finding high and low on other alternatives, but could find any software function the same as catalyst was.

I hope any1 in this forum could enlighten me to find the solution.

If you switch to linux, you'll have open source drivers still updated and supported by the community. There are no other solutions but to buy a new card which is supported by AMD (or anyone else).

You can as well upgrade to Windows 7 which has a working driver for your card and will be supported by M$ for another 7 years at least. By that time your card will reside in a museum.
