Running an ATI Radeon HD 4800 series graphics card and today I began having issues in every game I try to play.  What sort of issue?

Took a screenshot in Wargame: AirLand Battle and it's an issue present in every other game I try to play.  It doesn't affect my desktop or when I use google chrome thankfully.  I checked and made sure all the cables are tight, ran a virus scan with malwarebytes, the drivers have always been a pain though.  Is the card dying or is it something I can hopefully fix?  If the card is dying then I guess I won't be gaming for a year while I try to save up the money.

edit: The answer came this morning when nothing would appear on the monitor, in the words of a guy from Star Trek "He's dead Jim"

Sounds like a good excuse to update to an 270x or 280x.

That could be from excess heat, take it out, grab a can of compressed air and blow the fluff out of every nook and cranny. If you're adventerous you could remove the cooler and apply some new thermal paste too.
