Hey everyone, having a big problem with this.

Within the past year, I installed an update, but did not realise that it would potentially damage my video display. The Brightness and Contrast of my screen are both at 100%, but the screen is quite dim. Videos, Games, etc, always too dim to view.

I have a Windows 7 AMD Phenom 8450 Triple-Core 2.10HG 64-bit processor with 4gb of ram. The video card or chip, not entirely sure what it is, but it's an ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics controller.

But I know for sure that it's a driver issue, not a Hardware issue, because I DID fix the problem by uninstalling CCC, but like a dumbass, I updated my graphics, and the problem came back, worse then before.

Sweeping the Driver did nothing. I am no longer able to update, unless the December 2013 update is really from 4/2013.

I have tried to install 13-9-legacy_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc_whql, which was released this month, and it updates my driver only to March or April of 2013, and it does not fix my video quality issues.

I do not have enough blank disks at the moment to back up my most important data, so system restoration is, at this time, not possible.

I fixed it before, by mistake, and then broke it again. Any advice?

1. Reinstall windows (you killed it by driver sweeping).

2. Use manufacturer-provided drivers.

I'm not sure how, since this problem was around long before I ever swept my drivers.

And same thing. Didn't work. Thanks for the attempt.
