I own a Radeon X800 card that had worked ok until Wednesday. I tried to play several games with Windows XP SP3 and Steam and suddenly the screen appeared corrupted. I tried different resolutions but the problem persisted. I uninstalled the drivers and installed them again with no success. Yesterday I installed Windows 7 SP1 in the same machine and the problem persisted. I found out if I choose 16 bit color the screen is ok, but when I switch to 32 bit color, the problem comes back in exactly the same way.

I haven't overclock the graphics card and I use the latest drivers available in AMD site. Anyone could help me, please?

Most likely the card is finally starting to die due to years of thermal expansion and contraction. You need to be using an HD 5000 series or later card anyway, so you should take the opportunity to upgrade.
