Hi all

I have ATI Radeon HD 4670 after installing the latest software that named " 13-9-legacy_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc_whql "

I faced a very annoying poor video quality in movies starting from the standard definiton " SD " to the high definition " HD " and Blu ray too

I returned back to the older version of driver that named " 13-1_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql " that problem disappered but i want the newer update as there are programs need the latest update " i.e bluestacks "

So any help

My OS : Windows 7 x64 Professional

My MotherBoard : MSI 760GM-E51

What do you mean by poor quality? It's not defined by any standards. Screenshots or something, please. Also have you tried different players and renderers? Have you tried turning off acceleration? Have you tried changing video settings in CCC?

im not professional in the accelerations and the video settings i just install the windows and the drivers with the default settings

Here is a screen shot from a video before installing the vga new driver " that have the problem "

and here is a screenshot after installing it

as you can see the image got more dark and the colors seem to be kind of wrong and there is some pixlated points but you can notice it in the video not screens

If you add a bit more contrast to #1 and turn off/lower deblocking, you get #2. So check out contrast and deblocking settings.

I'm still interested in what player you use.

Trying different renders may also help (View -> Options -> Output). People say MadVR is the best.
