hello i need to know if theres a decent windows xp program that can test my ati GPU to see if its faulty? i have an asus M2R32-MVP motherboard with an ati amd HD4890 GPU and when i play pc games i get what looks like screen tears there not super bit tears but there big enough to be noticed on screen, also when i restart my pc my bios tells me the overclocked failed since im on an AMI bios and since asus has auto overclock enabled i cant turn off the overclock and i have no way to tell if my board is damaged or if its my GPU thats damaged so i thought id test my card to see if thats the problem.i cant afford any upgrades how do i fix screen tears

Computer setupASUS M2R32-MVP mobo phenom 2 quad core 920 at stock 2,8Ghz 4 gigs ddr2 ram xp
pro 64 bit and 1TB hard drive ATI AMD HD4890 1 gig GPU 1000 watt psu with 72

the screen tears didnt happen untill recently when i was trying to replace thermal paste on my cpu and the cpu was accidentaly pulled out of the socket while still locked into the board

Suggestions:

1. Replace the battery on the motherboard.

2. If you don't want tearing, enable vsync in games.

3. Get rid of windows xp.
