This may be in the wrong place - if so ap*****gies.

I have done something really stupid!  I uninstalled AMD (thinking I was uninstallilng a game and didn't realise it was all it was)  Now my mouse wont work and neither will the touch screen.

When I realised I had uninstalled something I shouldn't have I went to the AMD website and did an Auto Detect and Install and what I think I have now is Driver Packaging Version 14.10.1006-140417a-1710986 but the mouse and touchscreen still wont work.  PLEASE can someone help me to get them working again!

I am not sure I can give you all the information you require as I am fairly non technical,so if there is anything else you need please tell me where to find it!

It is an HPPavilion TS 15 Laptop with a touch screen running Window 8, 64 bit

Processor - AMD A1O-5745MAPU with Radeon (tm) HD Graphics, 2100 Mhz 4 cores

From the back of the laptop

Serial 5CD4075HQH

Model  15-n205AX

Product  F6C63PA#ABG

Contains  Ralink Radio Model RT3290

Contains FCC ID: VQF-RT3290

IC 7542A-RT3290

CNC: C-9521

Thankyou so much for your time.

Ohhh YES!!! Thankyou so much.  I restored and all is working again.  I will remember that for next time I do something stupid (but believe me, I will be thinking a bit more before I blithely uninstall something!)

Many many thanks for your help.
