I've looked everywhere and can not find drivers for my HD2300 card. I entered the site but the drivers listed do not recognize, or if it does not indicate the driver accepts.

My card is ATI Radeon HD2300, type M71S. Seeking for Windows 8.1.

I thank you.

Your graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements for Windows 8.1. There are no drivers for it.

Actually I formatted the computer and this little sadly did not save the driver, but had a rather well and ran Windows 8.1. Windows 8 found an easier compatible driver. There is some variation possible to just install? Windows installs only one basic driver that is horrible. Have ran Windows 7 and Vista that are much heavier than the 8.1.isgust;

Windows 8 was a little more forgiving...not so Windows 8.1. Either buy a 5xxx series card or better, or install Windows 7. A 5xxx series card can be had for around $30.

Not really strange at all. Your card has been in LEGACY for over a year. There will be no update that will make/force it to work with Windows 8.1. Period. Windows 7 or forget it.

Not to mention that as a notebook with a HD 2300, it means it was shipped with either XP or Vista, and was never intended to run 7 or 8. Time to buy a new laptop.

Like I said, I managed to find this driver. Of course he is a MOD but it worked very well, is stable and recommend it to everyone.

This driver works for ALL OS including Windows 8.1 and it works better than the site.

If you want, there are ancient versions also stable in this forum:
