Are you surprised? Game companies these days seem to spend more time and money on their precious DRM schemes (which are futile, as all are broken soon, except Tages, but Tages is just a glorified DVD checker, not invasive like Steam or any Always On garbage) instead of the game itself and them blame AMD, nVidia, and pirates for the game being so crappy and performing so poorly
