Well title explains almost everything.

I'm recommending a budget pc for a friend and I would like to recommend a A8-3870 based system, but I can't not decide which motherboard should I get between MSI A75MA-P35 and MSI A75MA-G55 and why.

 

This are my recommneded alternatives by now (so far)

From AMD (my recommendation):

Motherboard MSI A75MA-P35 

AMD A8 3870 Quad Core 3.00Ghz ( Radeon HD 6550 APU )

DDR3 1600MHZ 4GB G.Skill Ripjaws XL (2 x 2GB) Dual Channel

 

From Intel (alternative recommendation):

Motherboard MSI H77MA-G43

Intel Core i3 2120 Dual Core 3.30Ghz

DDR3 1600MHZ 4GB G.Skill Ripjaws XL (2 x 2GB) Dual Channel

I would suggest the AMD system for the better graphics capabilities.

yes indeed! me too recommend the AMD build.

My problem is that I can't determine if it's worth to invest extra money on an  MSI A75MA-G55 MSI or if it's ok with the A75MA-P35. 

I'm also considering an WD Caviar Black over the Caviar Blue, does anyone nows if there is a noticeable difference between this two hard drives?

Well, considering that Trinity will be using a new socket (due to the integration of the chipset into the APU itself) I wouldn't spend the extra money on the G55.

As for the hard drive, personally I wouldn't go with either one and instead go with a Seagate MomemtusXT hybrid drive, but if the cost is a factor, with that system, I highly doubt a Black would give any noticeable advantage over a Blue

after looking thoroughly into the description of those bords the only noticeable difference seems to be the extra memory slots and the hdmi output. I was expecting something else since the "G" made me think it was including some kind of onboard graphics processor.

I was also thinking about the inmediate release of Trinity I believe it would be better to wait a while, but my friend wants to build the pc in the next week so he misses Trinity.

The good thing about Llano is that is is very budget friendly and will give Trinity a good time to get cheaper, even possibly add in a cheap card for dual graphics.
