Hello.

Okay, I know that the specific topic "Release date of AMD HD 7990" is getting too old and boring, but I want to ask because I live in Greece and tech new arrive way to late.

Example, when I search I can only find topics of rumors and that it will be released in May 2012. I also heard recently that it will be released this Octomber but I can't find anything, all I find are old topics.

Could anyone please share any info?

From what I read AMD will leave it up to the OEMs to release their own HD 7990 (as in no reference version). One version is out now, the "Powercolor HD 7990 Devil 13", at €1,000, most likely higher in Greece. Couple of reviews Here and Here.

...From the looks of it I will have to check other EU sites (and pay much more when I order). Cause my 2 HD6990 were 2nd hand, and one of them died

That card has been out for a bit now and other OEMs might start to make them too .. Why you would want to stick with ASUcKS though I dunno, there are way better OEMs out there than that company.

Aye, Asus makes great motherboards but I wouldn't touch their video cards, especially when Sapphire is about the same price and has a very good known track record, especially with their custom cards (VaporX, TOXIC)

Well, to tell you the truth my friends also tell me that. Especialy they are telling me that Gigabyte (for example) is more reliable. But since Asus hasn't let me down, why not sticking with them.

I admit that their support can be stupid some times (or most of the time from what I hear) but if you stamp uppon a good guy it's okay(from personal experience).

If Asus f***k me, like getting a new card and/or motherboard and don't do well with the waranty(I never twick my hardware, only if I can spare the money)like not accepting or not upholding what they offer then I look else for oranges.
