Hi everyone, I have a computer with two hd7850 cards linked with crossfire (but not enabled) and one monitor. I noticed that if I plug my monitor on the 2nd video card and turn on the computer, the monitor will not come on until it reaches the windows logon screen. If I plug the monitor on the 1st video card, the monitor will come on instantly and will display the boot screen and so on. I would like to know if this is normal behaviour.

Secondly, If I were to enable crossfire, the fan of the video card that does not have the monitor connected to it (say the 1st video card) will stop. If the monitor is plugged to the 1st video card, the fan belonging to the 2nd card will stop. I would like to know if this is normal as well.

You have to connect the first card only, the second card ports don't work.

The second fan will stop when the card is idle
