Changing my DNS server really sped up my web search and page loading time. I mean considerably. Just use the one it suggests...forget/don't worry about any 'hijacked' noticed (you can research that if you like, it's a glitch). Use the suggested DNS as your primary (I left the secondary as it was). If you are behind a router (wireless) change the DNS of the router and all computers will benefit that are connected thru it.
edit: Just choose your country and what browser you normally use...don't need to check anything else....unless you only want servers that censor your searches (no po*n).
