I have developed sequential and parallel in-place sorting algorithms.
Got 2 years ago excellent results on a AMD box - in contrast with less
satisfactory results on a whole range of Intel cpus.

The reason: Intel's 32k 1st level instruction cache, and the AMD box
has 64k, which accommodates my codes way better.

I have lost access to that AMD box.

Does anyone has cycles available (say in the evenings) for running a
few of my sequential and parallel comparison tests?

array 1M/2M/4M/8M/16M uniform distribution FourSort <-> FiveSort
array 1M  630 weird distributions FourSort <-> FiveSort
array 1M/2M/4M/8M/16M uniform distribution FourSort <-> ParFiveSort

As AMD has very specific security protocols, they won't be able to just let you remote in and do some testing. But go to the Developer forums at wwwd.amd.com/dev and register there. They'll have a bunch of Engineers and other developers like you who might have some options for you, but this won't be something that AMD can just do automatically, you'll have to register there first and see what's available.
