Personally, I think its done. BB that is. WP FTW!
In all seriousness, BB will likely only appeal to businesses from this point forward, but with new apps, and other methods of securing phones, most businesses areallowing employees to use personal phones to access their neworks. THis reallyharms RIMs future viability imho.
My forecast:
RIM: BB10 will be the last belch from a dying giant. I have no idea why it's as hyped as it is. Todays news indicates my concerns as well, calling it a game extender, rather than changer. It might be enough to stall their downfall, but not reverse the trend. anyway though, the best of luck to them.
Apple: iPhone 5 is the beginning of a long downhill slope. They'll fix themselves ina few monitors, but as of yet, they don't know their flock is getting smarter on theirlack of features. They're releasing too many phones, too often. iPhone5S is already around the corner here, the iPhone5 hasn't gone far yet, and for good reason.
Android: Probably level out where it is, if Europe is any indication, maybe even come down a little. Especially as google continues to push it's invasiveness into user privacy. Also, best Ican surmise from my reading, the phone manufacturers really don't make much money on these, so probably not a lot of additional manufacturer push.
Windows Phone: Not flying under the radar, clearly viable, but desperately trying to get its head up. Microsoft has plenty of financal backing for it, and will push it and push it. MS has already statednumerous times that the sales are doing good, and it must survive. Nokia has also bet the farm on it (note: I pwn a Lumia 920, and it's a great great phone), as has HTC. Samsung has also in the past couple days given it more attention as their android sales arestalled, holding their own, this is just another salvo for them against iPhone, expect more backing from them. . The Chicken and the Egg adage has been holding true up until about now. I have finally begun to see a bunch of commercial name apps come through the store. I think this will begin a shift. WP won't explode onto the market and grab a sudden 20%, especially in the US where iPhones reign; however, I think it'll hit a sizable amount in this year.

BB will be #1 everywhere except North America. More companies will come back to BB's BES as global security tightens.
Android will be the new virus magnet and suffer accordingly.
Apple will stay #1 in N.A. for awhile and then remain stagnant as people come to realize they don't need to be cornered into the applverse and it's oddball hardware connections, constant patent lawsuits, et al.
Can you tell I have shares in RIM??

I think Windows Phone has a fighting chance. It's a beautiful interface, the app support just isn't quite there yet. Not to mention they have, what, two phones?
I think they would help themselves out by making a phone that isn't a GIANT. My girlfriend was very interested in a Windows Phone until she found out that it was a monster.
This is a pretty subjective thing...some people like big phones. I just got a Droid Razr M, though, mostly because it was the only smartphone in the store that wasn't HUGE.

Don't forget though, isn't it Samsung that has that new phone for businesses which includes 265 bit AES encryption and all that jazz (and a very long commercial, the unicorn game one) which will cut into their market...The biggest problem with RIM is that they have to recover their image, which isn't easy in this "1 second of downtime is unacceptable" world. Apple's problem is that they got like AMD was when they had the Athlon and Intel the Pentium, AMD was faster, yet they let it get to their heads and Intel blew past and never looked back, plus Samsung's offerings are cheaper and more innovative, and Apple's extremely overrated, as reflected in the stock freefall. They try to blame it on Steve Job's death, but most people see through it, and the only way Apple can attempt to recover is by getting Samsung's products pulled (which isn't really working). Windows Phone will take a bit longer to catch on, not helped by the fact that some of the apps people may need only work on iPhone and Android.
Can you tell I don't get excited about a phone? It's...a phone, you look like an idiot holding a tablet sized slab of lowest-bidder plastic to your ear, and look like a psycho walking around talking on a bluetooth earpiece, and you look like someone people want to beat the crap out of if you don't use common courtesy. Also, how many people have you been around that 5 feet away you can clearly hear both sides of the conversation?

Bah!! Market shmarket. When I bought in a month ago they said DON'T BUY, then two weeks later is was KEEP, then two more weeks later it was BUY BUY BUY. Crazy quesswork, sort of like forecasting the weather.
It's not available to the public yet so who knows what the adoption rate will be. N.A. may be entrenched but time will tell what the other 6.5 billion people think.
It's going to be a great addition to my playbook even better when OS10 comes to the PB. I'm looking forward to the NFC uses too.

It's a similar story for windows phones too btw, seems NA is still sucking on apples ... erm... core.... but worldwide MS and WP are seeing large gains.
