So EK sells this "kit" for $5.04 to "upgrade" their waterblock to work with Ivy Bridge chips better. It doesn't help you remove the heat spreader, it doesn't help you remove the TIM, and it doesn't help you by including new TIM, it's $1.25 each for 4 screws. Maybe we should submit this to Ripley's? Or use it against every Intel Fanboy who says AMD does asinine things?

Best example I've seen is still the $50 network cable that Alienware once had listed as an "option"...

And then there's audiophile gear which can cost thousands...

I mean. Eh. You aren't paying for the screws here, you are paying to use that waterblock with a de-lidded CPU. It's cool of them to offer that option.
