i am sticking with 1920x1080 as that is expensive enough to play games on. 4x GTX Titans is out of my range, and the power load must be brutal.

I can play Metro 2033 fine on my box, same for Metro Last Light

I'll be moving up to 720P eyefinity soon enough.

Well my eyefinity array will be capable of 720P to 900P eyefinity.

I have no desire for large screen spans. I want surround.

3x 19.5inch debezel'd 900P eyefinity is my next display array.
Most games can run in 1366x768/1280x720P eyefinity just fine so thats what im looking to do.

Fun stuff.

4K doesn't interest me. I like wide screens like the 21:9, and 48:9 eyefinity.

My simple question! http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=474&threadid=167010&enterthread=y
I'm trying to hook up an Eyefinity display with my gaming laptop, care to chime in? I'd appreciate it alot! ^_^b

Four Titans, no problem.  Might have to skip a few meals, though...

I guess we can basically sum up by saying that yes, some day a reasonably-priced mid-range card will be able to handle 4K, but that's a few years off.

Of course, what is it with the Metro series?  Those games kill systems every time I see a benchmark.  I just bought Last Light, and with my 7950 on a 1440p monitor, I get ~20 FPS when I max it out.  Bumping everything down one notch makes it much more playable.  Granted, the graphics are amazing.

Of course, I don't mean to complain.  I'm happy with my card, and I know I have to make compromises sometimes.

Watching Ultra HD 4K content—with 2,160 lines of vertical definition—on a Ultra HD 4K TV set is impressive. But 8K—four times the total pixels—is so incredibly realistic that it feels like you're looking through a window into real life, as demonstrated by this outstanding film screened by the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK).

General 8K broadcasting is starting in Japan in 2016, with full implantation expected by 2020.

The notion that some day we'll be saying "Remember when we thought 1080p was such a big deal?" blows my mind somewhat.
