You guys think by Aug, we have confirmation of the above reports?

since the HD8000 series are marketed to OEM desktops like Dell,HP etc.

And better driver support for current gens by end of July for the HD7990 to outperform the GTX780

so I am also guessing the dual GPU single card version will be called HD9990 with 6-8GB of GDDR5

And comes with it's own compact nuclear reactor and refrigerated liquid cooler no doubt. After the 5970, it'll take a lot to get me to consider a dual GPU card again.

Very exciting ... I keep wondering when the new cards are going to come out, but I don't even know when or if I'm going to upgrade my 7950.  On the whole I'm very happy with it.

Is there a 9950 in my future, hmm...

It says in that article that the 8000 branding would also be used ... so, does that mean there are going to be 8000 series cards and 9000 series cards being sold at the same time?
