The guys over at TomsHardware put out this article about the benefits of Dual Graphics and how it relates to actual improvement. Take the results with a glass of skepticism until others duplicate them, but it seems about right, Hybrid Crossfire/Dual Graphics, at least as far as a desktop goes, isn't worth it, especially with very good power midrange cards such as the HD 7850 Boost costing very little, there is no reason to strive for Dual Graphics.

The dude shows a slide from an AMD press kit and says "Hey, that's not right.  It's showing one thing over another in a way that might not be realistic."

Well yeah, that's what press kits are for.

There's already been a number of reviews about how higher frame rates don't necessarily improve the quality of game play.  THG is late to the party here.
