Hello,

at first sorry for my bad englisch. I'll try my best. I got a AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200. The CPU is socket AM2. Now is my question if I can place the CPU on a AM3+ Mainboard.

Greetings

Eddy

No. AM3+ motherboards only support socket AM3+ CPUs (AMD FX) and AM3 CPUs (AMD Athlon II, Phenom II and some Sempron).
