Whats that, and over 10k points in 3dmark 2013. Imagine that a properly cooled graphics card.. being well, a freaking beast. So being over 10000 points would put it once again being as fast if not faster then a 780TI

This is probably why AMD kept manfacturers from there own custom coolers, because they needed to castrate there own product so that third party manufacturers could do there job. And AMD could "come back" and regain the crown or at least match it or even win albeit it ever so slightly.

Which is keep the R290X being easily the one of the most powerful single GPUs on the market.

MSI and Gigabyte also teased theirs as well. I am surprised manufacturers are keeping the 8+6 design, it could hamper overclocking efforts.

only runs at 40DBA, OC's to 1200mhz, and 77C.

I'll take one. After retailers drop the 100$ surcharge they've added to the R280X , R290 , R290X.

Stupid bitcoins.

Maybe AMD should add another class of cards:

Fire - Professionals
Radeon - Non Professionals
CM - Kids without girlfriends who pay to play World of Warcraft and think they can get rich overnight by mining cryptocurrencies

Up the memory bandwidth on the CM editions to appeal to the cryptocurrency crowd and free up Radeons for us.

Gigabyte's custom cooled card on Newegg $699, only $70 more than the stock cards, which is about the price of the Arctic Accelero Xtreme III. Still to expensive...

stock cards were only suppose to be 500$ for a R290x , 400$ for an R290. I can't believe there at 700$ right now.
