I just had a talk to the company Intelligent Memory (www.intelligentmemory.com) that offers the first DDR3 16GB UDIMMs, also with ECC. Even SO-DIMMs with 16GB

They said they will start shipping early february, but they confirmed that the modules work on AMD FX and other AMD processors. Just on most Intel chipsets, they don't, the BIOS would need to be updated and they are talking to Intel already.

I am curious for the pricing of these. Surely expensive.
