Just wondering what AMD has planned for the future because Direct X isn't too many versions away now from being photo-realistic and there's going to be no use pumping for higher performance graphics and CPU's quite so viralantly then is there? i mean, I have always supported AMD because I've liked the way the business has been progressing over the years and I hope that they have R&D in place for that day otherwise the companies very existn#ance could be threatened! Do you think AMD has something planned for when photorealism is achieved? The miind boggles as to what that could possibly be!!!

8k - 16k resolutions on every computer? EXTREMELY resource demanding raytracing which makes reflections on every object realistic? Graphics for holographic displays where a pixel is three dimensional? Brain-computer interface virtual reality? Who knows how graphics look like in 10,20,30 years There will always be room for improvement just like cities are never finished.

For every improved graphics chip, there is a studio willing to put out a "game" to hammer it down. It's a positive feedback loop, and it will never end. At least not until the 24th century and we get holodecks

I (As a Share holder and a Gamer) Would like to See AMD to use a 8 core CPU die and put 4 cores on it then realocate the remaining realestate as Cashe. For years Intel has been putting more on die cashe most of the time it's double the size.

Have AMD make the OS to run in the last core available. Letting games run on the precious cores 0 and 1.

Make A game engine that will use  all 8 cores or perhaps use an out of order execution accross the cores.
